Full time job responsibility.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop.
Key Responsibilities:
• Open and/or close the stores as required by the operational schedule
• Oversee daily coffee shop operations and ensure smooth service flow
• Lead, manage, and motivate staff (scheduling, performance, discipline)
• Maintain excellent customer service and resolve issues professionally
• Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Monitor sales, costs, cash-ups, and overall profitability
• Ensure hygiene, health, safety, and quality standards are consistently met
• Train staff and uphold brand and service standards
Requirements:
• High school diploma or higher.
• Valid South African drivers license
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and customer experience.
• Proven experience as a General Manager / Senior Manager in a coffee shop or hospitality environment.
• Willing and able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and opening/closing shifts
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Good financial understanding (stock, costs, sales, cash handling)
• Solid and stable decision making and problem solving
